This course will examine a common tactic by Plaintiff’s counsel in employment lawsuits—namely the inclusion of additional “tag along” torts which, although typically arising within the workplace setting, are separate and distinct from the employment claims themselves. Such claims can also carry additional/enhanced measures of damages and may trigger additional insurance policies. Participants in the program will learn about these increasingly-used techniques, how best to prevent them, and defending against them in court.
